Return and refund policy

1. How to Request a Return or Refund

We accept return/refund requests via WhatsApp or email only. Here’s how to proceed:

Step 1: Contact Us

  • WhatsApp: Message us at WhatsApp
  • Email: Send a request to amelia@plaidplain.co
    Include your order number, reason for return (e.g., defect, incorrect item, or general return), and photos of the product (if applicable for defects).

Step 2: Get Your Return Address

Once we confirm your request, we’ll email the official return shipping address to the email associated with your order (from amelia@plaidplain.co).

Step 3: Ship the Item

Package the item securely and send it to the address provided in our email. Use a trackable shipping method and keep your receipt.

Step 4: Share Tracking Information

Forward your shipping tracking number to us via WhatsApp or email at amelia@plaidplain.co so we can track delivery.

2. When Returns/Refunds Apply

You may request a return or refund if:


  • The product is damaged, defective, or has manufacturing issues.
  • You received the wrong item (e.g., incorrect size, color, or product).
  • You wish to return a non-defective item for any reason within 30 days of delivery (see Section 3 for time limits).

3. Return Timeframe

  • 30-Day Window: Returns must be postmarked within 30 days of the delivery date stated on your shipping confirmation.
  • Late Returns (Over 30 Days): A $10 restocking fee per order will apply, deducted from your refund (fee paid by the customer).

4. Refund Processing Time

After we receive and inspect the returned item:


  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
  • Funds are returned to your original payment method. Processing times may vary by your bank or payment provider.

5. Return Address & Fees

Address Policy

  • Only Use Email-Provided Address: The return address is sent exclusively via email from amelia@plaidplain.co after request approval. Do not ship to any other address—unauthorized shipments may cause delays.

Costs You’ll Cover

  • Restocking Fees:
    • Free for: Defective items, wrong shipments, or delayed deliveries (per our shipping policy).
    • $10 Fee for: Returns made over 30 days after delivery (fixed fee per order, customer-paid).
  • Shipping Costs: You are responsible for all return shipping fees (domestic/international) and potential customs duties (for international orders), unless required by local law to be covered by us.
